Ashok Mishra

Ashok Mishra joined the W. P. Carey School of Business as a professor of agribusiness in 2015. Professor Mishra’s research interests lie in food policy and focuses on the economic performance of global agribusiness as a result of production efficiency, mergers and acquisitions, and volatile commodity prices. Professor Mishra previously spent a decade as an economist for the Economic Research Service at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He has been commended for his research in agriculture, being named a fellow by the Northeastern Association of Agricultural Resource Economists in 2013.
